Being independent is the one thing we all value. But sometimes circumstances, illnesses and disabilities can mean that independence is jeopardised in some way.

The most important thing in this situation is to make sure that we do all we can to remain as independent as possible. And receiving the appropriate help at home can make all the difference to how we live our lives.

The good news is that there is a lot of information available to help you get the assistance you need. No one needs to struggle at home; regardless of whether you go to your council for help or get friends and family to assist you, the solutions are out there.
